Summertime is the best time of year for new fruits and vegetables to be carried. Treating your skin with an all-natural, homemade facial or body scrub is beneficial.
Offering antioxidants to the skin, moisturizing, closing pores on your skin, and even preventing and treating acne, fruits and vegetables, particularly those that come out in summer are great.
Here is a sample of the many distinct ways that summer fruits and vegetables can be used. It would be wise to check some of the facial ingredients and see how your skin reacts, depending on how sensitive your skin is.
It’s up to you, of course, whether you use this mask once a week or once a day.
You’ll need:* Two apples* Two tablespoons of coconut water * Chamomile Tea Peel, mashed apples and remove the seeds. Add sufficient coconut water and chamomile tea to form a pasty application. Apply this to cleansed skin that is prepared for the mask.
Leave on for about 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Apply a face cloth with cool water in order to close your pores. This facial should offer you nice results and leave you with a clean, moisturized face.
This mask is a great way to use fruit that is beginning to overripe. This facial is perfect for you if you’re old school and can’t stand to throw away anything. You will need:* 4 to 6 overripe strawberries* 1 overripe kiwi* 2 tablespoons of honey (organic is best, but regular off – the-shelf brand is also okay)* 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Take the strawberries off the stems and cut them in half. Peel the kiwi and leave the seeds as they are. The seeds are going to behave as an exfoliant, so use the entire kiwi. Cut the kiwi into fourths. Use a potato masher or put them in the blender. ⠀Add the sugar. ⠀Blend until you have a creamy, mushy, and messy mixture.
Place the mixture on your face, which is free of makeup and clean. If you have an old towel to put around your neck, it’s okay because it’s a very messy (but productive) facial!
Spread around your skin using circular motions. This mask is intended to exfoliate and not necessarily to “stay on.” Once you have cleansed the entire face with this mixture, rinse with warm water.
You will feel a tingling sensation that tells you that the acidity of this fruit is going to work to clean out your pores. The sugar is exfoliating while the honey covers any irritation that may exist.
Summer fruit is great for ingesting, but it is great for facials as well!
