Here’s the Scrub

There are so many natural ways to give yourself a good scrub.
The most important thing to remember with exfoliating is NOT
to overdo it. Once or twice a week is plenty and always use a gentle circular motion while scrubbing. Also, keep away from the eyes and rinse completely. Because there are so many I like I wanted to give you a couple recipes to choose from.

A quick and easy scrub, which is great if you have some dark spots to lighten is lemon and sugar. Cut a lemon in half and dip into sugar, gently scrub. You can also use lemon juice and sugar. Mix with your fingers and apply. Prepare the mixture for future use and keep it in the fridge. Lemons are a great source of vitamin C and also help to shrink pores.

Another facial scrub that I love I call the Cocoa Scrub. It’s called that because I have combined coconut oil and cocoa powder.

Here’s the recipe:
• 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
• 1 tbsp of sugar
• 3 tbsp of coconut oil

Mix together and gently scrub your face. You can leave it on
for a few extra minutes while the caffeine goes to work on your
collagen. Rinse well.
